Most Dropped: January 27-February 2
- Luke Ridnour (11.5 points, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 90.8% FT%): Ridnour has cooled off of late, but it's surprising to see so many owners dropping him. He's still the starting point guard in Minnesota and having one of the best seasons of his career. Luke is threatening to become a top 50 player this season and deserves to be owned in all formats while he's starting and playing big minutes. Scoop him up if he's been dropped in your leagues.
- O.J. Mayo (12.2 points, 1.4 three-pointers, 1 steal): Mayo may be the biggest disappointment in fantasy this season and his recent suspension was the last straw for many team managers. O.J. was borderline rosterable before being suspended, so he's simply not worth holding onto while he's out until mid-February. Although he was a high pick in fantasy drafts, he's simply not producing this season and it's unlikely he turns it around. For those still keeping him on their roster, we recommend looking for a replacement for the rest of the season. Someone better is very likely to be available in your league's free agent pool.
- Daniel Gibson (13.3 points, 2 three-pointers, 3.1 assists, 81.6% FT%): After a strong start to the season, injuries have taken their toll on Gibson and his production is starting to drop off. We still feel Gibson can be a strong contributor to any fantasy squad when he's healthy, but he's going to have to prove it in order for more fantasy owners to buy in. Because the Cavaliers are so beat up, he's going to get a ton of playing time and he's one of the team's better players. For these reasons, he's still worth holding onto in standard formats. If he fails to produce over the next couple of weeks, though, feel free to let him go.
- DeAndre Jordan (7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 67.5% FG%): Much like Ridnour's case, we're baffled as to why fantasy owners are dropping Jordan. DeAndre is still collecting rebounds and blocks at a high rate. It's possible that owners are looking for a replacement with Chris Kaman likely returning in February. But with Kaman missing so much time, we have to see him on the court for a few games before we let DeAndre go. Fierce shot blockers are very hard to come by, so be sure to pick up Jordan if someone has recently dropped him in your league.
- Nicolas Batum (11.7 points, 1.3 three-pointers, 4.8 rebounds, 81% FT%): Once again this week we have a player being widely dropped for no apparent reason. Batum's struggled over his last couple of games due to a knee injury he's playing through, but he's done more than enough to be worth a roster spot in all formats. Batum should be owned in all leagues for the rest of the season unless Brandon Roy returns.
