NY radio station WBLS has picked up Salt and Pepa as their new on-air talent for the 2-6 PM slot that used to belong to radio guru Wendy Williams. Salt and Pepa will be discussing an array of topics including motherhood, men, and music.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. There are many talented up and coming radio personalities that have worked hard to earn a spot like that. Don't get me wrong, I respect these two women for what they contributed to hip hop. But radio? Not to mention they have some big shoes to fill. Wendy was wildly entertaining. I don't see these two being able to fill that void the right way.
