God wasn't gonna let the devil win!! Good always destroys evil! Joe has signed a legal document promising not to raise his grandchildren – as per his late son's apparent wishes. Joe states that he consents to wife, Katherine, being the guardian of "my grandchildren Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince Michael Jackson, II".
"I do visit the family residence from time to time and will continue to do so, however I will not be involved in raising the children... I understand that all decision-making authority regarding the children will rest with Katherine Jackson... Katherine Jackson is a wonderful caretaker and guardian, and has done an excellent job raising our children and other grandchildren."
Jackson's mother Katherine was named the children's permanent guardian during the brief court hearing on Monday.
It's claimed the Jackson family feared Joe - who has been accused of violence against his own children, including Michael - may have jeopardised Katherine's chances of being awarded custody had he insisted on playing a significant role in the siblings' upbringing.
