Rumor Control: Ludacris Is NOT Married!!

A few days ago, Monica tweeted something that sparked stories that Ludacris and his girlfriend Eudoxie (A.K.A. Fab) secretly got married.  In her tweet, Monica referred to Fab as her "cousin", therefore people suspected that Fab was now Monica's cousin by marriage.  I didn't report the story because I rarely believe any of the blog rumors and DDT tries to be as accurate as possible on all stories.  A few readers asked me if it was true so I figured I'd let you know that it IS NOT TRUE.  Although the two seem to be really close, they have not taken that big step just yet.  It's gotta be hard being in these public relationships, they'll make up stories about anything.

Shannon Brown Confirms Marriage To Monica

Yesterday there were reports that Monica and Shannon Brown were married back in November, but chose to keep their nuptials to themselves.  Well, Shannon has confirmed their marraige.  Check the video below.

CONGRATS to the couple!!! I don't know about you guys but I would LOVE to see Monica on "Basketball Wives."  Not the current BBW that we see with all EX BBW's, but a real one.  One that wouldn't involve so much cattiness.  Maybe she and Keyshia could show them how to REALLY be a BBW.

Monica And Shannon Celebrate His 25th Birthday!!

Some of you might remember that Monica and her ex-fiance (Rocko) made my top 10 couples list for Valentine's Day.  Well, not too long after that Monica announced that the two were separating.  Although they are not together anymore, the two still seem to have a great relationship.  Anywho, Monica has a new fiance', Laker player Shannon Brown.  The two were recently at "Millions of Milkshakes" to celebrate Shannon's 25th birthday.  Is it me or has Monica been looking extremely happy these days?

I love it!!! Not only did Monica bounce back from her breakup, but she bounced BACK AND UP, LOL.  She has a great family, great record, her OWN DAMN MONEY and now a new boo/fiance' with his own money as well.  The two seem to be a great couple, I wish them much success!! I wanna see them add a little girl to the bunch. :)

Tip Headed Back To Jail For 11 Months - Pics Leaving Courthouse

I'm sure everyone has heard by now that the judge revoked T.I.'s probation and sentenced him to serve 11 months in jail. While that seems like a long time, it's actually a blessing cuz Tip could have been gone for a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time behind this BS

Kandi looks great on the cover of Sister 2 Sister Magazine.  I have to find this issue ASAP... did she date Gerald Levert or something?  I'm also curious about this show Saaphyri is getting.  I was just thinking about her the other day and wondering if she was still in jail.  I guess she's out and she looks to have lost a lot of weight while she was there.

Monica And Shannon Brown An Item?

Okay, looks like Monica's fans picked the right guy for her to walk down the aisle with in her "Love All Over Me" video.  L.A. Lakers player, Shannon Brown played Monica's husband in her last video and seems to also have some type of role in her personal life.  The two were recently spotted out and about together.  You ain't heard it from me but..... Shannon was here in Memphis this past weekend while Monica was here for the "Passion, Pain and Pleasure" tour.  Hmmm, sounds like somebody is keeping their boo company.  Ain't that cute?  They really do make a cute lil couple, gone then Monica!!!

2010 BET Awards

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Y'ALL, I missed ya. Today is my first post in almost a week, but with good reason. I wasn't able to post because I was in L.A. to attend the 2010 BET Awards, WHICH WERE AMAZING!! Although I was late to the show, I walked in on the BEST performance of the night, Chris Brown paying homage to the great Michael Jackson. Yea I'm a little late but lets take a look at some of the performances, some of which I'm seeing for the first time as I post.

Okay, I really wanted to see Dirty Money. As I was walking in I heard them closing out their performance. Not only did I miss them at the show, but they stayed in our hotel and later on that night while I was valeting the car I missed them as they walked through the lobby. My folks told me how cool they were about their short interaction with them. So now I had missed them not once, but twice. I was TOO mad LOL, y'all know I dig Dawn. My friend that was actually in her seat for their performance told them that they killed the performance, and they surely did.

Chris Brown's M.J. Tribute


When I first saw the silhouette I didn't know who it was, but as SOON as Chris hit that first move I knew EXACTLY who it was. Nobody could have done a M.J. tribute better than Chris. He shouldve been there last year but BET (and everybody else) was WTS. He did the damn thing!! A lot of people are questioning rather or not the crying was staged. Personally, I think it was genuine. It's obvious that he's loved M.J. since he was a kid, you can see it in the way he dances. Y'all should have seen that crowd during this performance. I know I was up and damn near in tears so I'm sure y'all felt it at home. Oh yea, I'm really curious if the Carter's and Rihanna were M.I.A. because of Chris' performance. If they were, oh the hell well. The show wouldn't have been the same without him. Maybe we'll see ya next year.

Monica & Trey Songz Tour Dates

Monica and Trey Songz have finally announced tour dates for their upcoming "Pain, Passion and Pleasure" Tour. I've been waiting on Monica to hit Memphis for a while. I knew how much Memphis wanted to see her so I was working with a promotions group to try and bring her here. I could have CRIED when I found out that she couldn't come, but I quickly got excited again when I heard why. Because of THIS tour she couldn't come to Memphis until the scheduled date. Anywho, I'm sure this will be a great show because I dig both Monica and Trey's music. I heard Trey put it down the last time he was here so I'm looking forward to seeing them both.
