Toya Carter Explains Her Gay Tweet!

Last week Toya Carter had the Twitter world in a complete UPROAR!! I'm sure she didn't realize it would create such a commotion when she tweeted "it breaks my heart to see kids under 18 gay #idontlikeit." You should have seen some of the comments that they sent her just for voicing her opinion. In all honesty, after reading some of the things that people sent her, I almost totally forgot about what started it all. Check out what she had to say about the comment.



I still don't understand why people blew it up as much as they did. Even after she apologized they still went in, SMH. I'm glad the people over at "The Ladies Room" allowed her to explain herself better.  She has to be more careful of her words in the future cuz people will take ish to a WHOLE new level (they even made comments about her child). Anywho, what did you all think about her show the other night? I loved it, I almost cried when she said she would point out random strangers and say it was her mom. Toya has come a long way, especially considering where she came from. She has a store, book and her show "Toya: A Family Affair" got 1.5 million viewers on the night of the premiere. Gotta love it!!

Straight From The A Interviews Toya Carter... Confirms Engagement!

Ms. Toya Carter has been making her rounds to promote her new show "Toya: A Family Affair", her new book "Priceless Inspirations" and everything else she has in the works.  This morning I heard her on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.  When I got online I found an interview that she did with Straight From The A.  The ladies looked like they were having mad fun during the interview as Toya confirmed some things that the public has been wondering about.  Check out the interview below!

That was super cute!! So now it's out, yes Toya and Memphitz are indeed engaged! On Steve Harvey's Show she referred to Mickey as her fiance and said that she "really, really loved him."  I'm really happy for the both of them.  Besides love, Toya has found several other things to occupy her time.  I'll be checking out the book, most def checking out the show and I'm waiting for Garb Boutique to get an online store so I can check that out as well (she said it's coming soon).  I've seen some of the pieces from the store and they're pretty hot. Much respect to Ms. Antonia, she is definitely making moves and you can't do anything but respect that.

Toya Carter's "Priceless Inspirations" In Stores Next Month

During my interview with Toya Carter last year, she mentioned that one of her next ventures was a book.  The book would be "memoirs to her younger self" and she wanted to share it with the world.  Well, she recently celebrated the completion of her new book "Priceless Inspirations" which you can find on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Borders next month (you can preorder online).  I love the title, her name "Antonia" means "Priceless" in Italian. Super cute!!  Toya is now a reality TV star, boutique owner and an author.  People can say what they want about Ms. Carter, but they can't deny the fact that she's making big moves.  Gotta love it!!  I'll be coping the book.  What about you?

Toya mentioned on Twitter that she is doing a book tour.  Memphis, hit her up and let her know that you wanna see her in the city.  We already know she likes a little of what the city offers (Memphitz), let's see if she'll come through for a book signing, LOL.

Okay, I likes this song. Not shocking tho cuz y'all know I'm a Rasheeda fan. I really like Toya's part, the pics in the video were just too adorable. The pics at the 1:47 and 2:00 mark made me miss my cuzzo, I just love my fam. Y'all wouldnt believe how silly dude is, LOL. Anywho, her verse was cuteness, one day I'll tell y'all how I found out about the two of them ;). They both seem extremely happy together, gotta love black love.

Wedding Bells For Memphitz & Toya Carter?

So.... the new buzz of all the blogs this week (except this one) has been that Toya Carter and Memphitz recently got engaged. I've even had people calling and tweeting me for confirmation, but I haven't responded due to personal reasons. While I'm not here to confirm or deny anything........ I will say that whatever they have planned,  "I DO" wish them both the very best. ;)

Toya Carter Shoots With Matt Phoenix Plus Hear More About Her New Show

As you probably know, Ms. Toya Carter landed a spin off show from her hit reality show Tiny and Toya.  Toya's new show called Toya's Family Affair will air on BET and allow her fans (and haters, we know you're watching too LOL ) to go a little deeper into her family life.  If you follow her on Twitter you know that she's been in her hometown, New Orleans filming for the show.  While there, she took some impromptu photos with photographer, Matt Phoenix.  Check them out!

These two look really happy together, gotta love black love!  These pics are the bizness, Toya is a beautiful girl and these pics captured that. It's easy to make a picture look nice with lots of makeup, lights, and couture fashion but Matt Phoenix captured Toya as she was on a regular day and the pics still turned out fab.  You can check out his site here.
