Hell Rell's Suing Jim Jones for Stealing Royalties

No surprise here, Jim's known for stealing money in the industry. Hell Rell is taking Jim Jones and a number of record labels to court for stealing his royalties. The lawsuit claims that Jim Jones, Tycoon Entertainment, E1/Koch Records, and Babygrande Entertainment stole royalties from him.

Hell Rell was at one point signed to or affiliated with each of these labels. He released Hell Up in Harlem on E1/Koch in 2007, and Black Mask, Black Gloves in 2008.

As you may recall, Hell Rell was once a part of The Diplomats, which at one point contained a hefty number of people, but since the Jim Jones/Cam'Ron fallout, the Dips have become scarce.

This is just another lesson about knowing what you're getting into when you sign on that dotted line. READ THE FINE LINES. And if you're not knowledgeable of contracts and negotiating deals, hire legal representation. I can't say this enough, DO YOUR RESEARCH.
