MTV's Michael Jackson Tribute

MTV kicked off the VMA's with an introductory speech from Madonna. In my opinion, this was the most appropriate choice considering Madonna is probably the best performer alive now that MJ has passed. The dancers came next and smashed it - very clean performance. Then, Janet hit the stage...the performance from her was touching as she paid tribute to her brother by performing the "Scream" choreography from the video. Ummm...so I'm gonna keep my comments to myself out of respect. I know she's a little rusty, but I know that was difficult for her so for that, she was great.

Side note: Despite BET's sloppy display at their awards show this year, MTV did not measure up. BET still had the best MJ tribute.
