Janet Jackson opened up the American Music Awards with an excellent performance, while Michael Jackson was the biggest winner of the night, winning four AMAs for Favorite Pop/Rock Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Favorite Male Soul/RnB Artist, and Favorite Male Soul/RnB Album.
Long live the King, no disrespect, but there were a lot more hard working living artists that I believe deserved at least one of those awards. The American Music Awards were way too predictable with those awards. I know that MJ was actually one of the highest selling artists of the year, but come on man.
