After suffering a sprained MCL and PCL in Sunday's win against the Lakers, it was announced the Phoenix Suns center Robin Lopez would be out for several weeks. No specific timetable was set for his return.
The Breakdown
Lopez wasn't much of a factor this season, seeing under 20 minutes a game even though he was starting. In Phoenix's first game without Lopez, Channing Frye stepped into the starting line up and played 39 minutes. He finished the night with 15 points and 7 rebounds.
Although Frye has been somewhat of a disappointment this season, he's been getting plenty of minutes and his playing time will increase as a result of Lopez's injury. Frye is available in about two-thirds of leagues at this time, but he should be picked up in all league formats until he returns to the bench. Hakim Warrick should also see an uptick in playing time and is also worth an add in most formats.
