The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Hornets coach Monty Williams plans to have Marcus Thornton and Marco Belinelli compete for the starting shooting guard spot.The Breakdown
Thornton would appear to have the advantage going into camp due to his stellar play last season, but Belinelli certainly has a chance to take that starting spot away. Either way, both players should get solid minutes next season as the Hornets don't have much depth at that position behind these two.
