MHADA Forms 2011

MHADA Forms 2011
The forms will be available till May 16.

To cut down on the paperwork and massive queues to collect applications, MHADA has announced that the forms, for the first time, will have to be downloaded fromwww.mhada.maharashtra.gov.in and should be filled there itself.

The forms can be submitted at any Axis Bank branch till May 19. The lottery will be declared on May 31 at Rangasharda in Bandra.

“Over the years, we have had to reject a lot of applications because the forms were either incomplete or incorrectly filled.
The online application system that we have introduced from this year will take care of that. It will also get rid of long queues.

All those who have a problem with the online system can come to MHADA centres. We are confident that the lottery will be a huge success,” said Amarjit Singh Manhas, chairman, Mumbai board.

The top gainer from the scheme will be the Lower Income Group (LIG) - with a monthly income of Rs 8,000-Rs 20,000 - with 3,133 houses.

Those from Middle Income Group (MIG) - earning Rs 20,000-40,000 a month - will get 280 houses, High Income Group (HIG) - over Rs 40,000 a month - 365 houses, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) - for whom the scheme was originally introduced - will get 256 houses.

Those from EWS will have to deposit Rs 10,000 along with the application form, from LIG will have to deposit Rs 15,000, from MIG Rs 25,000, and HIG Rs 50,000. An additional Rs 50 will be charged for the application form.
