Last year we found out that Megan Fox was out and Rosie Huntington Whiteley was in for the female lead in Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon. Some people were in an uproar about this but others were happy about the change. The Victoria’s Secret model didn’t have any other acting experience so this choice was a big surprise. The HD trailer is out now but you really don’t get to see much of the new model-turned-actress in action.
Michael Bay was the only who convinced Rosie Huntington Whiteley to read for the part. The two had worked together in the past and he sent her an email to convince her to try out amongst the 500 other hopefuls who were reading for the part of Carly. She did try out and was finally invited to a screen test with Shia LaBeouf. That was all it took for Rosie Huntington Whitely to get the part.
